After the Berry AI system is installed, it enters a Training Phase. During this time, Berry AI learns your store’s unique layout, traffic patterns, and operations so it can deliver accurate, reliable insights.
This process is normal, expected, and an important part of ensuring high-quality data.
Why the Training Phase Is Important
Every store is different. The training phase allows Berry AI to:
- Learn real vehicle movement.
- Adapt to your store’s layout and drive-thru flow.
- Improve timing accuracy.
- Reduce false positives or missed detections.
This ensures the data you see later reflects how your store actually operates.
When the Training Phase Starts
Training begins once:
- All cameras are installed and online.
How Long the Training Phase Lasts
This process typically takes about 3-4 weeks before the store becomes fully operational. Possible reasons for delays usually include three factors:
- Network issues hindering development progress.
- Berry Server or one or more cameras are offline.
- Public holidays occurring during the development period.
What You May See During the AI Training
During the AI training period, your in-store monitors may display “Coming Soon.” This is expected and completely normal. We intentionally limit visibility during training to ensure you don’t rely on incomplete or inaccurate data.
Once training is complete and the system is fully live, your monitors will automatically update and show all metrics.
